Frozen in Time – October 7th
A handcrafted memorial timepiece by Rexx Timepieces
Designed by Rexx Timepieces × The Israel Store
This piece was not made to tell the time — but to remember.
Built and assembled entirely by hand in Tel Aviv, every element inside the 42 mm stainless-steel case was crafted, cut, and painted in the Rexx workshop. A scorched ground, red-gold embers of war, a hand-cut Star of David, and a hand-painted white dove rise beneath a clear resin dome. The hands are fixed at 06:29 AM — the moment the world turned upside down, yet time itself stood still.
Symbolism
- Black ground — scorched earth and memory.
- Red & gold embers — the fire of war and the courage that endures.
- Star of David — hand-cut & painted; faith, unity, resilience.
- White dove — hand-painted; peace rising through the aftermath.
- Blue & white sky — the colors of Israel; hope returning to the light.
